Day and Season tickets
Monmouth and District Angling Society: They have access to several stretches of the River Monnow and Trothy as well as the River Wye, although this is only available in close Salmon season.
Royal Forest Of Dean Angling Club: There is a choice of 6 ponds of various sizes, most contain Carp, Roach, Tench, Chub, Perch and Bream.
Fly Fishing:
Fairoak Fishery: Tuition may be arranged by appointment and tackle hire is available. This is a Stillwater trout fishery two miles from Tintern on the Wye valley. There are two large lakes (approx. 3 acres) and a small novice or practice pond.
Restocking policy, trickle stocked daily with hard fighting rainbow trout of 2 lbs and above.
Abundant natural fly life means that small naturals and dry flies are ideal patterns to try.
Lodge and toilet on site, free mug of tea while booking in and tackling-up.
Open 8am till dusk. Rod Licences available.

Restocking policy; regularly with sporting rainbow and brown trout, (average 2 lbs).

Springfield Fishery: Large Stillwater trout lake at Penallt, 5 miles from Monmouth.

Bigwell Fly Fishery: This fishery consists of 3 ponds (1.75 acres in total) set in the heart of the Wye valley (Redbrook). These are spring and brook fed and as well as offering excellent fishing the site is abundant in wildlife.
Stocked with hard fighting Rainbow and Brown Trout.
Open dawn till dusk.

Trefaldu Fishery: This is a natural spring fed three quarter acre lake on a large farm, approximately 5 miles from Monmouth (Dingestow).
Coarse fishing only.
